Refund policy

At Vovane, we are committed to providing thoughtfully crafted furniture and lighting to customers throughout the United States. If an issue arises, we strive to resolve it in a fair, transparent, and efficient manner.

This policy applies to orders delivered within the contiguous United States.


Eligible Reasons for Return

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or has a verified manufacturing defect, Vovane will provide one of the following remedies at no additional cost:

• A replacement of the same item

• Replacement parts when applicable

• A full refund

Damage or defect claims should be reported within 7 days of delivery and supported with clear photos or videos.

This reporting period helps us work efficiently with carriers and suppliers and does not affect any rights available under applicable consumer protection laws.

Non-Defective Returns

Return requests for non-quality-related reasons, including change of mind, size selection, or color preference, will be accepted when all of the following conditions are met:

• The request is submitted within 30 days of delivery

• The item is unused and uninstalled

• All original packaging and components are included

Return shipping costs for approved non-defective returns are the responsibility of the customer.


30-Day Return Window

Return requests must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date.

To qualify for a return:

• The item must remain unused and uninstalled

• Original packaging or equivalent protective packaging must be retained

• Proof of purchase is required

Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

• Custom or made-to-order products once production has begun

• Requests submitted after the 30-day return period

• Items returned without authorization

Oversized products are not excluded from return due to size alone. However, special packaging and transportation requirements may apply.

All returns require prior approval.

• Issue an approved return shipping label when applicable

• Provide packaging and shipping instructions


Return Shipping Fees

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

For verified shipping damage, manufacturing defects, incorrect items, or missing parts:

• Vovane will cover all applicable return shipping costs

• Replacement items will be shipped at no additional charge

• Customers may choose a replacement or a refund when eligible

Approved Non-Defective Returns

For approved returns based on customer preference:

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

• No restocking fees are charged

Natural variations in wood grain, stone veining, texture, finish, color tone, and other characteristics of natural materials are not considered manufacturing defects.


Refund & Replacement Eligibility

Eligible situations include:

• Verified shipping damage

• Manufacturing defects

• Incorrect items received

• Missing parts

• Orders confirmed as lost in transit after carrier verification

Not eligible:

• Requests submitted outside the 30-day return period

• Custom or made-to-order products after production begins

• Unauthorized returns


Refund Processing

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

• Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days

• Funds typically appear on the original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your financial institution

Order Cancellations

Standard Products

Orders may be canceled for a full refund before shipment.

Once shipped, cancellation is no longer available. Customers may submit a return request after delivery under this policy.

Custom or Made-to-Order Products

Custom orders may be canceled before production begins.

Once production begins, custom orders become non-cancellable and non-refundable except in cases of verified damage or manufacturing defects.


Product Dimensions & Access Responsibility

Customers are responsible for reviewing product dimensions before placing an order.

We recommend measuring:

• Doorways

• Hallways

• Staircases

• Elevators

• Final installation locations

Packaging dimensions may exceed the listed product dimensions.

If delivery cannot be completed due to access limitations, delivery-related service fees may not be refundable.


Return Packaging Requirements

Approved returns must be packaged securely to prevent transit damage.

Original packaging is strongly recommended. If the original packaging is unavailable, equivalent protective packaging must be provided.

Items damaged during return transit due to insufficient packaging may affect refund eligibility.


Return Authorization & Return Labels

Vovane utilizes authorized return facilities within the United States.

All returns must receive written approval from our support team before shipment.

Customers must use the approved return instructions and any return label provided by Vovane.

Return locations are assigned based on the product type, warehouse routing requirements, and customer location.

Items returned without authorization or shipped to an unapproved address may be refused.
